Downloading both parts right now, I think the whole VWF community is looking forward to this one based on what Trips has told us.

As to regard to the finish, Marc hit it right on the head in his first point.

Firstly, just listened to the B side, well done as always.

But my problem was the finish after all of the build-up. It's like when Hulk Hogan met the Rock at that Wrestlemania a few years ago. After all of the build-up for that match, a leg-on-the-rope finish would leave everyone saying "Bullshit", etc. I think it's the same with Hatred and FA getting all of the big build up and bad blood between each other, I think maybe a traditional ending where we exchange finishers, kick out, then someone delivers the final blow for the win, and either they shake hands and leave (as Hatred/Angel will likely never meet up again)....just something not controversial so we can essentially end the feud.

I told him that I understood the ending, but I think there was a bunch of ways that it could have ended, and proof of the finish and the hype that it had, everyone was talking about the Makel/Stevenson match after the show (myself included, one of the best matches I have ever read, amazing work), while the big 'main event clash of the ages' got minimal response. I don't want to sound like an ego maniac at all, but I wanted to have the highlight match of the show with the two characters of Fallen Angel and Cory Hatred going to war in one of those 'Match of the Year' matches, that would have everyone talking. As a reader, if it were a real PPV, to me at least it would have been like after the Makel/Stevenson match the crowd was waiting for the next one to outdo it, being the hyped main event, and after a good body for a match, the finish would kill the tempo of the show, rather than everyone going nuts (this is where I understand the heel finish, but even a heel gets decent pops if they have one of those match of the year matches)

I just think trying to put myself in someone shoes who had just started to follow the invasion around the time of the PPV when things became more 'popular' for other fedders, seeing our feud and then the finish might leave unanswered questions, like oh well Hatreds going to want a rematch, or they'll have to have 'Angel/Hatred II' or something like that, rather than a lackluster ending with the attack on the ramp being somewhat confusing. I though after reading there was a rematch or something until I talked to Chris.

But like I said when I posted my thoughts on the finish the first time, it's nothing against the writers, they worked hard, I was very satisfied with the RPs between Sam and I, and it was one of the best feuds I've worked over the years, and it got my characters name out there a bit as well as PWR, and we got to do this angle that had never been done WELL before done, and it was all in all a great experience. I've put it behind me as nothing more than a great experience, but I though I'd clear up my opinion.

Cory, understand were your coming from , but always leave room for little bit more ,  like they say to storytellers leave the people wanting more , FA and Hatred 2 , may happen one day, hey Rival Factions is right down the road.

hint , hint , hint   ;D

I would like to say that I have alot of fun recording those shows, and it is definitely one of the highlights of my week when we do them.  The chemistry that everyone has with each other is great.  It's alot of fun, and even though we all might not agree on everything all the time, we all have the same overall outlook in e-fedding, and the same outlook on how to treat and interact with each other and others.

And I don't think that Sam gets enough credit for what he does.  If it wasn't for Sam reigning us in and giving us direction, it would just be 30 minutes of Ian hitting on various members of my family and Digital Revolution jokes.  And Sam edits every single one of those shows and puts them up in a timely manner, and I for one appreciate it.

More of you should offer your sisters to him.

If the rest and future podcasts are like this, holy shit. This was funny as hell. I enjoyed this alot and look forward to the next one. To clarify on that Cena trivia question, John Cena was "stabbed" by Jesus at a nightclub so he could film The Marine, the movie wasn't release until a couple of years later.
