Sorry for being slow on my review, prepping for finals is all. Here it is!
There's still definite things here that I liked in the ET. The opening signs are humorous, the matches are a sweet length for my short attention span, and there's characteristic touched aplenty. So, props to keeping a successful format, and not trying to fix what isn't broken.
I think the backstage brawl before the first match could have been played out more. It set the Rival Factions mood obviously, maybe just felt like we could have started to establish some rivalries right there. It's a small thing, just wanted to bring it up.
Congrats to Mosa on the well-earned victory! Don't think I'm going to give up though! I'll be looking for a rematch at the first opportunity. :p
On a similar note, I love that Noble's cane literally tripped up the victory, ha. Just those small character touches I mentioned.
I'll admit, the delay did cause the show to feel a bit disjointed, but only for Part 1. I'm sure there's several guys here that would help out if you needed help with matches (I'd help if you ask). Just know there's always help if you ask!
I'm stoked to see the Experts Tag Titles in play. Now, time to find a partner...
Really great increase in quality as the matches went on. The True Experts match definitely stood as the top match, and seeing Jack stand tall at the end makes him just that much more of a villain. Should be interesting to see the December rankings and who his next challenger is!
Overall, I felt like this was a really solid show. It contained some good matches, hyped up a lot of different guys, and set up Rival Factions nicely. I like the continuation of the Experts vs. Jack Benevolence, because it would have been a shame to just see that die. I'll definitely try and get a spot on Team APW for Rival Factions, and hope to see everyone then!
