The League!

Something I have only just found via netflix, but have watched all 4 seasons.

Love it.

One series I wish the FOX channel on sky would actually pick up and not forget about instead of running repeats of NCIS

Whos going down?

Who is coming up?

its still a twat of a relegation process with enough teams still in it to get relegated to the championship

QPR and reading are pretty much certain to go down, QPR with a  miracle run could stop it, but highly doubtful.

At this stage with 6 games to go, who is your money on?

Stoke, Sunderland, Villa, Norwich, Newcastle, Wigan?

As a Villa fan, i am Bias, but I believe we have the best run and can pull 10 points from 6 games due to current form.  If it is villa, then we should have played for 90 minutes in every game.

I really feel Stoke will take that 3rd spot.  DiCuntio will pull a rabbit out of his hat and save Sunderland.

As for Promotion to the big bucks?

3 5 games left, Cardiff are up.

The second place?  Hull or Watford.

Not sure but it is close.

Playoffs, Watford/Hull, palace, Brighton, Forest, Leicester, Bolton.

This one is for you Rob.  I really feel Palace will do the play offs, and for once, I hope they do.  They have been consistent all season, and for once you are at the right end of the table.

I hope the eagles soar!

So I watch this online because it is about 5 weeks ahead of its viewing slot in the UK, I know its repetitive but its something to watch.

Anyway, this week they announced that it was going to be the final next week.

Anyway, they left it on a 'cliff hanger' not revealing the finalists until the week of the actual final....

Ok, that pisses me off, but to top it off on the Official website from FOX, they actually have a picture of the two finalists leading their team.  So for all the secrecy there isn't actually any secret and having the 'cliff hanger' was pointless.

Just thought I would share because that is a FAIL!  ::)

In-Character Q&A

These are very useful in 'getting' the character, so please answer the questions in-character!

What is your crowning achievement?

Capturing the TFWF Lightheavyweight Championship

Are you comfortable in cheating, and why/why not?

There is no need for me to cheat.  If I can't get the job done, then I just simply need to get better

What is your general attitude to facing people you've never seen before?

I take it as a challenge.  Never back down, and let the best man win.

Have you competed in an Experts tournament/event before, and how did you do?

I Made it out of the group stages last year and straight into the Siberian prison.  I competed in Siberia the year before and think i made it to the last 16

How do you feel about the various locations of the tournament this year?

Its just another place to showcase my talent.  Its time to run straight into the light and not away from it.  Sure it will be a challenge going into these well known promotions, but I guess if you cant shine on this stage, where do you shine?

If you had to give the rest of the competitors one fact about you, what would it be?

The current TFWF lightheavyweight champion.  Fact.

Any final notes we should know about you?

I am always classed as the underdog, someone who will fight until the end so dont ever count me out.

Liverpool have terminated the contract of manager Kenny Dalglish, with Wigan's Roberto Martinez favourite to replace him.

If you ask any Liverpool fan I know, they will tell you that "statistically" they had a better season than Utd.  F'n Idiots.

37 points behind utd/city in the league @ 8th
13pts from European qualification
16 pts clear of relegation

Take the carling/milk/worthingtons/mickey mouse cup and enjoy it.

Tesco refuses to deliver £50 iPads after website error
Hundreds of shoppers who bought iPads advertised at £49.99 on the Tesco Direct website have been left disappointed after the supermarket giant said it would not honour their purchases.

ha ha.. Can't believe Tesco fucked up like that, but mistakes happen.

People are outraged that they aren't honouring it, but should they?

it was only a matter of when not if..

Chelsea have confirmed that manager Andre Villas-Boas has been sacked and that making a change was the club's 'only option'.

Good manager in Portugal, but never got hold of the Chelsea dressing room.

Football Board / England vs. Holland
« on: February 29, 2012, 09:34:03 AM »
Ok, so this is the first match without Walter the Softy.  It's a friendly, so it means not a lot, but I think pearce has named a fairly decent squad

Quote
Goalkeepers: Scott Carson (Bursaspor), Joe Hart (Manchester City), Robert Green (West Ham United).

Defenders: Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Jolean Lescott (Manchester City).

Midfielders: Gareth Barry (Manchester City), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), James Milner (Manchester City), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Theo Walcott (Arsenal).

Forwards: Darren Bent (Aston Villa), Fraizer Campbell (Sunderland), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Danny Welbeck (Manchester United).

Fair enough it is Manchester City heavy, but with his history with them and the fact they are on fire (Kinda) its understandable.

Who would you start? or even who would you have included in the squad?

For me its...

GK - Joe Hart
(Green and Carson just dont cut it anymore, I know its a friendly but still we need some more options)

DR - Micah Richards
DL - Leighton Baines
DC - Phil Jones
DC -  Gary Cahill

(The defense is really struggling at the moment especially with injuries.  But on paper when all are fully fit, its not half bad)

M - Ashley Young
M - Scott Parker
M - Tom Cleverly
M - James Milner

F - Danny Wellbeck
F - Daniel Sturridge

That is't half a bad team on paper, and it has the youth, it just lacks the experience.  But fuck gerrard, lampard and Terry, Move forward.  I for one wouldn't mind Pearce taking the job full time and bringing the young guys through

Why have the dropped the year name?  UFC 2009/2010?

Is it because they arent releasing one very year now?

Either way the game looks good, but I doubt it will be better than the EA MMA game

What a horrible tournament to pick from, but what an awesome tournament for an avid fan.

Group A
Czechs
Greece

Group B
Holland
Germany

Group C
Spain
Ireland

Group D
England
France

I dont expect any of the hosts to qualify, however, as much as I hate them and would love England to win.  I see Germany taking the cup
