When I first heard about Robocop being remade I was totally against. Now that I see how the casting is being played out I have to admit they have definitely peeked my interest. If the trailer looks intriguing enough they are going to sucker some money out of me.

Hugh Laurie, 53, has just agreed to play the CEO of Omni Corp in the remake of 1987's "RoboCop."And while audiences are well accustomed to Laurie playing a grump, they may be surprised to see him as someone who is evil-to-the-core.
First played by Oscar-nominated Irish actor Daniel O'Herlihy, the evil CEO role will yet again belong to a U.K.-born actor. (Laurie is from Oxford, England.)
Laurie's long-running television show "House," also the name of his dark-yet-brilliant lead character, ended in May. The show, watched by 81.8 million people in 66 countries, becoming the most-watched television program in the world in 2008, won five Emmys during its eight-year run and earned Laurie two Golden Globes, two SAG awards, and other awards except for an Emmy for his performance. (Perhaps he will finally pick up his Emmy this year -- this is his one last chance!)
"RoboCop" is due in theaters next year and has an approximate budget of $100 million.
The role of the infamous cyborg RoboCop, first made famous by Peter Weller in the film franchise that endured through the early '90s and even spawned a television series, will be played by Swedish-born actor Joel Kinnaman -- who currently stars in AMC's "The Killing."
Oscar-nominated actors Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson have also signed on to the film as has Abbie Cornish. Oldman plays the scientist who creates RoboCop, Norton, Jackson plays a media mogul (we hear he's a good guy) and Cornish plays Norton's wife.

What is your crowning achievement?
Tener una familia! Every morning I wake up and am surrounded with loved ones and friends is a crowning achievement. Growing up without a family and losing my mentor and father figure have truly shown me what is important in life.
This doesn't mean that matches or titles are meaningless to me. In fact quite the opposite but no title can ever replace the love of a father. Lo extrano mucho.
Are you comfortable in cheating, and why/why not?
Nunca. The men who have torn apart my city and home country have cheated, lied, murdered to get money and power. To fashion my morals to theirs me da asco. It's disgusting. I wrestle to prove a point that you don't need to cheat or grab a weapon to succeed in life or anything.
What is your general attitude to facing people you've never seen before?
It's what wrestling is all about. Men traveling the globe working and honing their craft. It's not about being intimidated or how good you are in the ring it's about traveling to different places and living the dream of professional wrestling.
Have you competed in an Experts tournament/event before, and how did you do?
Never had the pleasure but I consider it an honor. This is truly a gathering of talents. Como dicen? It's an honor to be nominated?
How do you feel about the various locations of the tournament this year?
I lived on the streets of Juarez as a kid before Padre Gutierrez saved me from them. Now you're saying I get to travel the globe and wrestle? Is someone supposed to have a negative opinion about this?

What is your crowning achievement?
Outside the ring I build custom cars so it would be the 1948 Chevy Coupe that sits in my garage.
In the ring I could talk about main events and title challenges which would be typical. But to be brutally honest the look on Kris Keebler's face when I laid my hands on his woman was priceless.
Are you comfortable in cheating, and why/why not?
I'm comfortable doing anything I can do to hurt my opponent so I can win. You want to call something cheating that's up to you. Where I'm from theirs just winners and losers.
What is your general attitude to facing people you've never seen before?
I fear no man and I don't get intimidated. Everyone's made of bones which means every man can be broken. It's just a matter of wanting to hurt someone that bad.
What will be your tactic in an over-the-top-rope environment?
Outside the obvious like don't get thrown over the top rope it's about waiting for the right moment and acting quickly. No hesitation, no second guessing, no pausing. It's just like a fight that breaks out in the yard. Just because you're not involved in the fight at the start doesn't mean there's not someone looking to take you out from behind. If I need to team up i'll team up. Only a fool tries to plan for chaos. You can't plan for it you just react to it.
Have you got history of competing in a rumble match?
In a wrestling ring? None. In life? Plenty and that counts for a lot more. Nothing like a prison riot to minimize a wrestling event. Nobody is trying to stab you in a wrestling ring.
If you had to give the rest of the competitors one fact about you, what would it be?
Anything and everything. That's what I'm willing to do to get what I want and to win. If you're not ready to bring that level of intensity and that level of commitment just stay home. Save yourself the hospital visit.

After being released from jail for assault with a deadly weapon he tried his hand at boxing and mma but couldn't abide by their rules always getting himself dq'd.
